What issues did you have with 21 inch wheels? Curious as I'm looking to buy one with 21 inch wheels
Easy to curb with how the rubber wraps around them, bent 2x on potholes and less comfortable. I love the 19s.

I am not, my lease is up soon and I am moving on.
I am getting a Lucid air GT.
the Lucid performs is at a very similar level as the Taycan and the Lucid offers far superior range.

where the Lucid comes up short is cosmetically, the taycan is the best looking car on the road and the Lucid charging speeds can be lower, however the initial range from 100% will be over 400 miles at normal highway speeds.

the taycan has a much better BMS and both cars suffer from the EA issues.

my main motivation for going with the lucid is financial, while both my taycan and the new Lucid have similar sticker prices the Lucid is over $800 a month less on an 18 month lease with zero down.

I hear ya. Performance numbers are similar, but the way each car feels in putting up those numbers are vastly different. The Lucid, to bluntly put it, is very boring. Maybe you're at a point in your life where you're ok with that. For a month, I was fortunate enough to have my Taycan, Model X, and Lucid Air GT at my disposal. If it was raining, or I had to go somewhere that was within 10min from my house, I took the Lucid every time.

I often give people a hard time about Lucid on this forum (because most of them just jump in here to pump their stock investment and have never driven a Taycan) but I can totally understand your reasoning here. Everyone is different in their needs and Lucid has a compelling product from many different perspectives. I hope it's an amazing car for you. I'd love to hear your impressions over time if you'd be kind enough to come back and share.

I'm now 1,700 miles into my CT4, and I absolutely love the car. I know it has it's gremlins, but the way it drives is superb. I still keep looking back every time I leave it and I look for every opportunity to drive it. I am a firm believer in how a car makes you feel when you drive it, which in this case, is simply happy, and so for me it is not about the numbers. I have never had a car that gets so many compliments and so many people glancing across as it drives by. In summary, if I am lucky enough to be in a position to get another one when the time comes, I would. But in the meantime I will enjoy every mile I rack up over the next few years.

In reading the forum, there seem to be many gremlins impacting the Taycan, and frankly, there are over 400 used and CPO vehicles listed for sale here in the US.

Seems like quite a few issues and campaigns, and now the PCM update. If you had to do it all again, would you still buy a Taycan? I agree they are EV, high-tech and great driving cars, but as a pending new owner, am I in for a world of headaches moving from a Cayenne to a Taycan?
Nothing against the car yet, aside from first real problem with headlight module staying on) but i would not buy another Taycan. Why would i?there are dozens of cars that i havent tried yet. Why waste so much money on same car.

38k miles in 3 years, not a single issue. Still looks and drives like the day I brought it home.
Ordered 25 for summer delivery, hands down best car I have ever owned, can’t wait for refresh.

are you saying that you haven't needed to bring the car in for the software updates?
