I saw 3 Chalk Porsches today alone. It has become very common. I’ve seen Ice Gray once and it was beautiful, an interesting mix of chalk and CW. I personally went with CW and matching mission E. I like metallic paint so it was an easy choice for me. If you’re torn I’d consider Ice Gray.

Thank you for all the input. We are leaning towards Carrara White. Our current Cayenne GTS is white (std/flat) so thinking Carrara White will be a subtle but noticeable 'upgrade'.

This is the final build code: PPFCR5I8

Getting close to hopefully getting an allocation for our Gts ST.

What people's opinion on these two colours?

We have always had white cars but wondering if this time to make the switch to chalk.

The black contrast of GTS should go well with either colours I suppose...
Hi, this is my 4S WC, for me it's a great color, chalk too. But I think you have to look chalk in person.

Just installed screen protectors on my taycan today - dyi ppf type, fairly easy and a nice way to spend time with the car. Chalk is my bias, I love it!
link to screen protectors you used? can’t wait for my chalk taycan to arrive!

Carrera white is what I’d expect out of a dealer spec car, not a custom allocation. Go with chalk, it’s the best. The volcano gray and ice grey are awesome too.

Here you go:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003681164565.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.21ef1802YnD73Q

This one is listed for model years 19-22... so if you're getting a 23, i'm not sure if it will fit but I guess it should?

Other cars in the garage should definitely be considered. I once bought a Perl White Lexus which looked great on its own, but next to a white car it looked like like a yellowed tooth next to white ones, it bugged me every time I looked in the garage. I think Chalk might clash similarly next to a white car making it look plane grey. That said, when I was trying to decide between flat white and Carrera White, I actually managed to see two Cayennes parked next to each other, flat white and Carrera White. Carrera White actually looked a bit brighter than flat white, so I went with that, but neither clashed against flat white (my car I parked next to them) or each other.

Chalk was innovative and pretty cool when it came out many years ago. It seems pretty dated now when applied to new products like Taycan.
Exactly. White is timeless. Other colors come and go.

I think I'm going CWM but have not seen one in the flesh yet. I have a local dealer who has just told me he has a 911 in the showroom so going to see that this week.

I've test driven 2 Taycans in Crayon/Chalk. Seems a common colour. I'm in France and we get a lot of sun. Crayon does not look great in the sun which I assume is because it's not metallic. So easy decision for me. The other colour I like is Neptune Blue but decided for me the Taycan suits a light colour and will help keep the car cool plus easier to maintain.

TBH i could live with any of the Taycan colours. Love mamba, Carmine, Gentian, Cherry too.

I was on the fence too. Really glad i went with chalk, feels a bit more special. White seems pedestrian and “normal” and chalk seems to stand out especially with black trim

sorry for poor lighting

Pretty much exactly why I chose Ice Grey. Didn't want white as it's too vanilla, and chalk is a little too common and better suited for 911/718s anyway.

Thanks. I like the way CWM looks silvery grey white against the flat white

Carrera White definitely always makes me think of the Mission-E concept, which is a good thing. Definitely the classy choice. I do like Chalk, but not on every car. Seems okay for the Taycan for me, so definitely see if you can spot one in person to confirm as it can be a love/meh color.
