Ordered my RWD end of March. Delivery originally was end of May. Called dealer again today for my weekly update - the car hasn’t been built yet and no date for production either.

I think mine is planned to ship this week on the boat leaving Friday 25th. Production complete 18th June and my dealer says usually the UK dealer gets it about 2 weeks after.

My car just reached Emden, waiting to get on a vessel. Looks like Production completed a full week early... good sign? but fingers cross because I have heard about major delays in shipping.

I’m really sorry to hear that. Porsche really have let down a lot of people at the moment - did you order a RWD or 4S model?

Wow, what the heck. Do you think it's because they are done with 2021 cars? Maybe you need a new order for a 2022?

Dealer intimated that mine might be on today's boat from Germany to UK. Eagerly awaiting confirmation.

@igad dealership have confirmed the car is on vessel, so yes our cars could be on the same boat! Vessel should be at the port next week, so I should be able to take delivery mid July ?

Hopefully that’s good news for other RWD customers in the UK! Completed RWD models were held back at the factory for final checks, for the ones unscathed by the microchip shortage.

Some orders have been delayed or cancelled due to the microchip shortage ?

Mine was pushed back to July 5th build completion, and yesterday was told it is now July 20th! ?? oh well…. At least the trade In value for my Cayenne has gone up 6-7k! Silver lining…..

I am really surprised that Porsche would cancel any orders. You would think they would just push back the production dates?

I ordered a base RWD with about 10k of options on the 20th of May. Currently don't have an allocation but hopefully mine is built around the same time as yours given the similarities between our orders!
