From this thread so far, most people did not pay over MSRP. It confirms my theory that dealers will try for as much as $30K ADM, telling customers stories how they can get that in a heartbeat in California, but since they sell at MSRP, we know it's just a story, or they are horrible business decision makers. I have met some which stuck to their guns, the most egregious was $15K ADM, pre-paid and non-refundable just to get on a waitlist for an allocation. Those are great terms for them by the way, the $15K is theirs essentially for letting you sign up to the waitlist at MSRP - no strings attached. Coincidentally, they must have ran out of suckers, as they contacted me recently if I'm still in the market for a TTCT (obviously I am not, just picked mine up last month).
I am a capitalist at heart, so I completely support the dealer's right to ask for as much ADM as they wish, as long as they do it up front, BUT forced products seem extremely unethical, specially when they are forced on the back end (at delivery) or hidden somewhere in the initial contract. Even if they were all open about forced products up front, why not just add an ADM for the amount of profit they make on the add-on products, rather than force the products. It angers me to read about dealers forcing products on customers, like @DougFrisk, though glad he at least pushed back on the 3rd party tracking which IMHO actually lowers the value of the car (non-Porsche approved hardware installed by some money hungry dealer who has to force it on people in order to sell it, and it provides no benefit over what Porsche already provides).
