Yes, please do ! About to plug in prior to a trip to sunny Scunny tomorrow - will certainly get back on one charge, but that’s not the point of this thread, is it ?

What was your average speed over these 9500 miles? It would be interesting to plot the correlation between speed and distance somehow. But then of course the ambient temperature also has a huge impact. For a number of reasons I normally reset my overall trip meter. Here are the snaps of distance travelled over different periods as well as the overall consumption (in mi/kWh). The arrows point to some long distance driving, target one way about 2800 km with some city or nearby driving combined. The other two data points are more like lost of local driving with occasional long trip of 1000 km one way. From this data I can not see any significant difference in range or consumption after the update, one way or the other. If I put on my optimistic hat I would say the uPdate has improved my consumption since I get 0.1 mile/kWh more with a higher average speed. And the May and September reading had roughly similar temperatures. The uPdate was performed before the last trip in the graphs.

But I am not even close to getting 3.9 mi/kWh.

Perhaps need to drive closely behind a big container lorry in the drag, to get that?
The average speed over the 9459 miles since I got the car is only 22 mph. My driving circumstances are about 60% errands around town and 40% steady speed on the highway between 70 and 80 mph. As far as detailed data per trip are concerned, those are my last three trips:
> yesterday (9/29): 53 miles - 36 mph avg - 3.5 mi/kWh - mostly highway
> yesterday (9/29): 78 miles - 36 mph avg - 3.7 mi/kWh - mostly highway
> today (9/30): 14 miles - 16 mph avg - 3.2 mi/kWh - errands around town
This illustrates an earlier observation that steady highway driving consumes less than stop-and-go driving around town, even at the lower speed.

That’s me. Best I’ve got is 314 miles at 100% in London with 3.6 miles per kW. I’m regularly getting 280 to 290 miles over the summer just gone.

@Kingske seeing 350 miles is amazing, especially for a 4S. Share your dark arts 😅
Dark arts: 19 inch wheels, slightly higher tire pressure, kind treatment of the battery (typically charge to 80% only, very little high-powered DC charging, very few launch controls), manual charge port covers (for what it is worth), flowing instead of abrupt driving style

Same here. Your range is still bananas.

I noticed that UK-based members of our forum typically have shorter range / higher consumption than US-based members. If so, I wonder why. Not all US members live in California/Texas/Florida-like climes. I, for one, live in hardly subtropical New Jersey….

Hard to say. London has a lot of stop-start traffic. Driving out on the country roads or motorway, I get great range. Otherwise, it’s probably the cooler climate.

Re your latter observation - that's normal and the same with an ICE vehicle ie short runs = high consumption (worse when engine is cold).

As I said few posts ago: app says: 22.402 km @ 19,4kwh/100km, but I don't believe those numbers.
I went through all records and there were just about 10 drives with less than 20 kwh/100km.
Most of drives were in the range of 20-22... so there's no way that overall average could be 19,4 at all.

BTW: I don't think that uPdate had any influence on that... based on what @Dee wrote about SoH, I'd say that my battery just lost 10% of capacity after 1st year...

Edit (@W1NGE : I've been interrupted and I couldn't finnished my math):
22.402 @ 19,4 kwh/100 means: 5,15km per kwh * 83,7 = 431 km.
As I said before, I've never seen (estimated) range higher than 420 (or maybe 426km) and that's why I simply couldn't believe those numbers.
one more update.
Yesterday, i spent 10%SoC to drive home (42km) with avg.consumption 21,6kwh/100km…so looks as i’m getting back my 420km?

I have also been notified that my domestic electricity will now cost me 33p/kWh which is 11p per mile.

The SL and Range Rover both give around 32 miles per gallon, or 7 miles per litre.

Round here, petrol costs £1.70 a litre and diesel £1.85, or 24p/mile and 26p/mile respectively. When I bought the Taycan, it was about one third the price of fossil fuels.

Looks like it will be cheaper for you to charge at Ionity now then

I think I must have seen the most loss in range since the big update.

I have a '22 4S with 21" wheels and was driving it mostly in Sport mode before the update and in Normal mode post update.

Prior to the update my range had been increasing to 260 miles @ 100%.

Post update, 2k miles later driving it the same way, my range is now 212 miles @ 100%.

WTF.
