Small update ...
Through some pressure of my saleswoman I got an earlier appointment for replacement . Only had one month to wait iso 2 months with a specific date when they would repair the car  ...
Brought the car one day in advance not to take risks . Now they called me they will start working on the car 2 weeks later end of discussion ! No replacement car of course .
Nice Service Porsche , my next car will be bought somewhere else . Feel sorry for the salesman since she was great !
Thank you and goodbye ...

Wow, that's bad treatment. I was lucky when the heater failed: less than 24 hours from they picked the car up, till I could collect it again.

Sounds like the dealer has too many customers already. Never a great idea to buy cars from dealers who already cannot handle the service load of existing customers. Besides the obvious reason, they have no appointment availability, it also can make them complacent as they don’t worry about losing service customers. Similar thing happened during the pandemic on the sales side, dealers had more customers than cars, so they didn’t care to return customer inquiries, send updates, etc. Cars sold themselves back then, as there was way less cars than customer, so there was no reason for SA’s to do anything other than cash a commission check.

this was a general problem in Belgium in 2022. Taxation of company cars changed and lots of Taycans were ordered. Not much EV competition. At that time only Tesla model S and EQS.

No replacement car ? Wow

When I dropped my car at the dealer for the heater replacement they also told me: sorry we don't have any car left for you. Is that a problem?

I don't remember the face I did but he immediately found a car available after seeing my facial expressions :asshat:

I wouldn't have left the place without a car.

I never beg to anyone but rest assured I'll remember ;) ...
They know they have to give a loaner but still they decide not to . I call it bad decisions with consequences .

Mine has now been in the shop for more than 2 weeks. Porsche Canada hasn't "released" the part, so no time-frame for repair. This, by the way, 1 week after getting my car back from 2 months in the shop for a fried on-board charger.

Phoned Porsche centre yesterday - told me that it would get higher priority and hire car if it is recovered to them by Porsche assist. Phone Porsche assist who told me that for the heater, they could recover it in the next 48 hours or I could drive it in myself and still have a hire car. I ended up taking it in this morning and got my son to bring me back. Since I am going to be away for a couple of weeks they can keep it and hopefully sort it before I get back. The service person yesterday wasn't sure, but the guy this morning seemed pretty hopeful. Fingers crossed.

The heater on my 22 Taycan failed after a year in December, 2022, and was replaced.
My car was not on the list of cars on the October, 2023, TSB for preventive heater replacement https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2023/MC-10244983-0001.pdf , even though its replaced heater had a manufacturer date prior to Feb. 14, 2023.

Today I got email from Porsche that a replacement heater is available at the dealer for my car:

What is the issue?
Porsche is aware of instances of HV Heater system malfunctioning on certain Taycan vehicles, which typically manifests during winter months and affects cabin heating and, in some instances, windshield defrosting. This typically occurs in colder regions when the HV Heater is in frequent use.
What will Porsche do?
To help prevent this issue from occurring, your Porsche Center is ready to install an improved HV Heater in your Taycan. This will be done at NO CHARGE TO YOU.

Looks like the car may make it before a 2nd heater failure.
