$60k of options is going to cost you badly at resale- you'll recoup perhaps 10% of their cost. $30k seems to be a common self-imposed limit. Since starting your original thread, I think the honest and understandable enthusiasm of fans of option X,Y or Z has led to you adding too many things that you might not really miss.
(Also, I think it's always been in your spec, but I wouldn't choose the Sport Design package even if it were free, never mind $10k- I prefer the look of the standard trim).

Do you guys think the sport design package in carbon fiber looks good
As an engineer who first use carbon fibre as a structural material in Formula 1 (wing mounts in 1977) and continued to use it for structural purposes for the rest of my engineering career, I have only seen anything shiny carbon fiber as a technically bad excess resin proportion :)

I would personally never choose anything carbon fibre as embelishment, it is expensive and if it is used it should be to improve stiffness, strength or safety IMO.

Having written that shiny carbon fibre bling is everywhere these days, so some people are obviously sold on it.

I am surprised there isn't some inexpensive black fabric using the same weave which can be moulded into a shiny trim piece (maybe there is...) since it would be functionally identical to Carbon Fibre for trim pieces.

If carbon fibre door or tailgate sections were used (like on a Toyota Prius PHEV...) hats off, but they aren't on the Taycan.

So no, I, for one, don't think the sports design package in CF looks good and wouldn't choose it it were a zero cost option.

Here’s my Taycan 4S code (yes I know most people don’t like the rear seat entertainment but I like the techy look and my kids will love it) I am going for a sporty on the outside and luxurious on the inside give me feedback

Here’s the code PP23TK16

Here’s Porsche code where you can see my build https://www.porsche.com/microsite/porsche-code/international.aspx
Really nice build! The only thing I would change is the alloy wheels. I think the Mission E in all black are stunning but only a personal choice. But very nice congrats 👏

Personally, I will just buy a certified used less than 3k miles Turbo or Turbo S and call it a day. It's about the same cost you will spend to spec a 4s that will deep in value, You getting a 200k car for 170k or less and fully loaded faster, and its the same as a MY 2022

I’d never wait more than 6 month if there are 2nd hand Taycans on the market.

@Abajansns : limestone interior for kids? I’d try to find some other colours.
Bramberry, truffle-brown….or, maybe red/black.

otherwise: it’s a great build.:clap::like:

There are Taycan Turbo S 2020-2021 MY between $160k - $180k you can choose with low miles with a black interior and you can get them asap. This one is Ice Grey Metallic, black interior far superior to your build for $170k maybe have them knock off $5k https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/273094f3-4fea-4e2b-8855-52ba7b7b9e2a/ clean title and fully loaded https://vinanalytics.com/car/WP0AC2Y1XMSA62331/ and I am sure they can ship it to you.

+1 go TS or TTS

Just to share my own experience. I was close to place an order for a decently specced CT4/RWD but got depressed by:
- lack of performance (vs what i'm used to)
- delivery dates
- poor dealer experience

I ended up I buying (at another dealer) a CPO 4S at 125k (1 year / 8k miles) with even crazier spec than yours (listed 172k new)

I'm not used to buy second hand cars but since the uPdate there's almost no difference between a 2020 and a 2023

I like your build if it suits your needs. I am quite minimalistic, so I specced around $20k additional from base.

Your money, and if it suits your needs/wants then go for it!

Is this the first taycan spec'd entirely by the members of taycanforum.com?

If so, congratulations everyone!

Add the Smokers package. Its free and a cool coin holder. I heard the insulated glass can create issues with cellphone, radar detectors, toll readers. Not sure if that is critical for you, but that could be a reason not to get.
