I’m receiving this error now on most starts. It then disappears after a second restart but becoming increasingly frustrating.

If the cameras / rear view / 360 view are working but not the sensors, try cleaning the sensors with mild detergent. Not likely the cause though if this problem goes away after a restart...

I have the same error plus lots of others. Oh and the phone drops call back to my iPhone handset ALL the time from Bluetooth. It’s hands down the worse in car experience I’ve ever had from a software perspective

Child lock fault is easily turned off / fixed by hitting the child lock button twice. I don’t know why?????? Ugh

It happened to me for the first time today. The weather was sunny and warm and the car and sensors clean. It was working fine 15 mins before. Car has only 672 miles.
I got the error for 5 mins, then it self corrected. While the error was happening the car was rendered like a gray rectangle in the screen.
This is yet another software bug.

I have the same problem - my dealer is blaming the PPF?! Has your issue been fixed?

Had this once or twice in addition to the Warn Brake Assist failure / malfunction - Generally ignore the message and it self clears. Sometimes there is condensation on the sensor (or camera) which I think leads to a false positive.

Not ideal but hey ho!

I have this too every 1 out of 10 times I start the car. After I shut down and restart it goes away.

Hoping for the software update to resolve this!

Same problem here, normally on cold days or after washing, also warnings on lights, breaking sensors and e-sound. The shop “updated” the software, and suggested i cleaned the camera! The shop has no idea how to fix this. It’s unacceptable for a car with this price tag....

I have also fallen prey to the same symptoms as you--same Park Assist error and same blurry image of vehicle when backing in the garage. Good advice given here for a resolution. Will follow up on them and we will see.

As stated by many of you, the Park Assist error and the blurry vehicle image while driving in reverse went away after turning on/off the vehicle. Actually, I forgot about this issue and noticed that the PCM image was back to normal and the error gone after several days of use.

I read on this forum about the 2020 Taycan software update and again I read an online article in Car and Driver (March 23, 2021), mentioning the software update. I pinged my Porsche Rep if there is any truth to this. Stay tuned...

I have a 2021 Taycan which had the software update last week, and now a couple of things don’t work including park assist.

The parkassist error happened (again) even after the WMA5 update. I restarted the car and it self corrected.
The dealer did not find any codes recorded at the previous occurrence so they have no clue. They said let's see if the update fixes it...
The update has not fixed any if the intermittent software issues I had.

Anyone else seen this? Happened to me for the third time today. Also, my business partner (who also has a Taycan) said after I complained to him it happened to him as well and he almost crushed his in our office garage.

I get the error occasionally usually after I have just started the car. my Taycan has had the software update a few weeks ago and I think it has happened twice since then. I think it is a software bug and usually I can reactivate it by pressing the Active Parking Support icon in the bottom left hand corner of the lower screen. If you do not have that option it will be the park assist icon. That brings up the function on the centre screen and I have been able to press an icon there which gets it going again usually a specific camera function. At the end of the day the Taycan is one big computer and any computer can be a bit glitchy sometimes at start up.
