I think the reliability of CC is pretty well established. They’ve been making EVSE’s since 2006 and have a solid reputation as the one that “just works”. I’ve searched this forum as well as a Mini Cooper SE forum and the sentiment is consistent. Have also watched a fair amount of online reviews such as Tom Moloughney’s. As for the JuiceBox, a lot of people have had great experiences. Some have had issues especially since Enel acquired them. My garage will have a Taycan and a Mini SE in it so I will have both units that will load share off of a 50A circuit. But since I will have two EV’s I need at least one EVSE that will be rock solid and so far as I can tell, nothing is more solid than the CC.
thanks!

I’ve had the Zappi 2 charger - over a year now - worked absolutely fine. Also has the advantage of different charging modes if you have solar installed. One further advantage is you don’t suffer from earth trip issues and the price is better than Anderson.
+1 on Zappi from me.
Also have 3 phase so capable of 22kwh. Reasonable price too. Would recommend my installers too.. Sam@Elecology is a nice chap and took the stress out of choosing so suggest you give him a call to make your life easy!

I went with Andersen and it's fine - no problems 14 months later. The problem is getting a slot for installation and so I would be ordering it now. Porsche charger looks very expensive but in car for an emergency some time but takes a week to achieve full charge off 13amp plug

Any EVSE running of a 3-pin (13A) will take days for a full charge (3.4kW max) - so it's your 'get out of jail' should you get really stuck with public chargers.

I got Andersens to do my PMCC install - perfect job and highly recommended. Why PMCC and not Andersens you might ask - worked out cheapest for me (including applicable Gov grant) as the PMCC was free in place of the PMC+ due to supply issues last year. Great piece of kit and works well. If I were installing externally I would have gone for Andersen's own EVSE - its a beautiful thing!

Can you really get 3.4kW off a 13A plug? 13A x 240V = 3.1kW or with 220V = 2.8kW. I thought it only pulled 10A to allow a bit of leeway and make sure it doesn't blow the 13A fuse - so maybe 2.4kW?

Having said that, I don't have one yet and you do, so happy to be corrected!

I 've just installed a second Tesla wallbox, works like a charm and is cheaper than the box Porsche sells to store their own charger which was also expensive and won't charge the X.

It's time to think about installing a charger for the CT as she's about 6-8 weeks away.
Based in the UK, what chargers have you had installed and would you recommend?
What company installed it and would you recommend?

Porsche didn't really push their charger, in fact they recommended Andersen, which was a bit weird...

Any hoo, what have you got?

Any advice related to this most welcome.
Andersen. Direct into CU. The other black lines are watering system.

I went with British Gas. They installed an Alfen Eve Pro with a Matt E IP67 load shedder for £895 after grants. I‘m very impressed with the result and workmanship.

The Andersen looks smart, like the idea of the cable being hidden when not in use
