London, can't remember if South or East though. I only asked last week.out of curiosity, which dealer did you get with Lex? Cambridge?
I've not been on the phone hassling for delivery dates, just taking it all in my stride

Ordered 9th June 2022Can anyone shed any light on delivery times once an allocation has been received?
One of my main learnings from this forum is that if I order a Taycan again and don't want to wait forever I should do so from ReadingOrdered 9th June 2022
Allocation 2nd July 2022
Production Completed 18th November
Arrived at Sheerness 28th October PDI at Sheerness
Collection from Reading tomorrow afternoon 13th December.
6 months and 4 days from order
5 months and 11 days from Allocation.... 2 weeks later than the original estimated date.
From locked spec.(after allocation) then 12 weeks or less. For example - lock in late November then build late Jan and delivery end Feb / early March. Can anyone shed any light on delivery times once an allocation has been received?

I hope they’re footing the fuel bill!So just to update on the drama of my delivery (photo of the car at the dealer in profile pic)
1. Initial Deposit April 2021 - to pre-reserve a slot for the at that time not announced GTS
2. Nov 2021 (ish) GTS announced....soon followed by ST in all variants - confirmed reservation on 4S ST
3. April 2022 - car finally locked in build
4. July 2022 - build completed - stuck in Germany with no Battery
5. Nov 2022 - car finally arrived at dealer - pick up scheduled 1st Dec 2022 @ 5pm
6. 1st Dec 2022 @ 11am call from dealer stating car has failed PDI with a heater issue - part ordered with ETA 7th Dec
7. 8th Dec 2022 - part still not arrived
8. 10th Dec 2022 - Dealer provides me with a Cayenne GTS
9. As of today (13th Dec 2022) - still no word on when the part may arrive
Overall a total and utter mess, but I am enjoying the Cayenne GTS V8 4.0 litre....one last blast in an ICE car with an amazing exhaust sound and some nice options. Ractex steering wheel is very comfortable and particularly liking the HUD....wishing I had added that to my Taycan build now!
Who knows when I will actually get my car....
To be fair my RS4 was averaging 16.7 mpg some weeks last winter,20mpg isn't fun!! Had my first trip to a petrol station in 3 years which was an eye opener!
Agreed, I have a 69 plate Telsa 3 Performance and it's great in the summer but range drops considerably in winter. I have a 800 mile round trip to plymouth coming next week and although I prefer the comfort of the Cayenne estimated fuel bills for that journey is around £400...I'll be taking the Tesla! Price below assumes using Tesla Super Charger at 67p per kWh (I'll be charging up to 100% for the first part of the journey on Octopus Go Tariff at 7.5p per kWh) so will be a bit less than the estimated £134That said, work gave me a loan of a Tesla 3 Performance on a 69 plate. It's the version pre-heat pump and its absolutely chronic in cold temperatures.
I suspect the range will improve on the journey as the battery temp will improve etc. You might see 200 miles if you are lucky!Agreed, I have a 69 plate Telsa 3 Performance and it's great in the summer but range drops considerably in winter. Glad after everything you finally have your car and are delighted with it.My 1991 Merc 500E which I have had from new did 22mpg driving carefully and 9 mpg using its performance.
A main reason to buy the Taycan actually.
Filling it up was already getting stupid 10 years ago.
Our Prius PHEV rarely uses petrol at all because most journeys are within its range but travelling my most used long route it does 65 to 70 mpg whilst sticking to speed limits and not needing to stop - so is actually quicker on that route than the Taycan in winter
The Taycan also uses about double the electricity per mile, which isn’t surprising given the 600kg weight difference and the tyre width. No surprise or disappointment though. It is quieter, more comfortable and the standard stereo surprised us by how good it was on the sort of music we likeyippee.
