It doesn’t work if you optioned the 19.2kW on-board charger. It works if you have the standard charger on MY21.
I have MY21 with 19.2kw onboard charger.
I tired the P&C yesterday at EA, it did not work.

Has anyone with MY21 without 19.2kw charger been able to sue P&C?

Did you have P&C enabled in the car (charging setting / option).

Also, is DC not a preferred option for charging or is the footprint low in comparison to fast AC chargers?

Most people in UK (I suspect) won't add the 22kW option as it is expensive, expensive to have 3 phase supply at home and there are many DC options (50kW+) out there. If really stuck then 11kW public charging would plug a gap / act as a Bandaid.

When exactly did Porsche say the car was capable of plug and charge?

The 2020s don't have it (although it may be part of the next software update), and no one is talking about giving 2020 owners some sort of compensation.
please try and keep up, it is a feature on the 2021 cars

Thanks.
Interesting that the website doesn't seem to have it in their descriptions of charging. Maybe the new brochures have it too.
the web site doesn't show it anymore because porsche removed it.

Most car shoppers keep up by reading the product descriptions on the website.

Not sure what is with the attitude, but whatever.

This is, believe or not, a different issue with the 19.2kW charger. The plug and play issue impacts cars produced into March.
Exactly. Unfortunately I am a part of this also. UGH

And beyond...

But that link is interesting as it’s for the 19.2kW but also calls it 22kW.

So here is my latest update.

After being told by PCNA CS that they just received a bulletin on this issue and that they are going to replace the faulty charger, my dealer informed today that what CS told me was incorrect, and that they don’t plan to replace the charger. I pointed out the other issue which has the recall on it specifically says they are going to replace the charger, so why not for this issue as well? No answer.

So I’m back to having to submit a new order. If I wish to change to a Torismo, the dealer wants to renegotiate. That’s what I get for the inconvenience.

I may just go buy another Tesla.

Which issue are we talking about, the plug and charge or the STOP SALE notice where they clearly state they are replacing the 19.2 charger. I am on that list, told I am 125, whatever that means.

Really disappointing to hear about your dealer. I am not a happy camper either, what a mess some of these cars are. They are just so darn good looking and drive so great, otherwise I would have taken a hike a long time ago. I just wish the experience could be better, but it doesn't seem they even care.
