I dropped my 2021 Taycan 4S off this morning for the wiring harness recall as well as the software update. I was told the update became available yesterday. Hopefully I will get the car back later today and can confirm the update. Please let me know if there is anything specific I can check for anyone. I have an old Android phone laying around, I will update that and see if it can connect.
Sigh, I was informed that now the update was not available. I only get a new air filter and an improved wiring harness. 🙃

"on the horizon."
It is just press release in plain English, I’ve posted a bit earlier more technical language. As of now scheduled to become available 07/22. Will see on that date

Also in the press release - available retrofit of 19.2kW/22kW L2 Charger with L3 Plug and Charge for 2020/2021 models. That’s a big deal!
The question is on cost. How much will it be to add plug and charge to a 2020 Taycan. Is there an advantage to the 22kw? I have the 150kw on mine.

Reasonable to assume that it’ll cost more than the option in the configurator.
The benefit of 19.2kW / 22kW L2 charging has been discussed at length in older threads here - about twice as fast as the default - but requires adequate home wiring and an EVSE that can service that higher amperage (or destination L2 charging at higher than 40A).

22kW L2 chargers are thin on the ground in the US but much more common in Europe. In my experience 80A home charging isn't something you'll really need. 48A charging will easily replenish the battery over night.

I'd consider the 19.2 kW charger _JUST_ for the plug&charge functionality- hmmmmm - I'm considering it.

The energy recuperation strategy has also been optimised. The automatic recuperation setting, for example, is retained even when the driver changes the driving programme. Added convenience for the customer. These improvements are relevant for Taycan models from the 2020 and 2021 model years.2
Forget Android Auto, this is massive!

I already requested the price. My car is scheduled for upgrade end of August

With 3-phase, 400V and 32A, I'm charging at 22kwh (at work), or 11kwh (16A at home).
