Fyi I was checking all of my charging apps (Charging NA, EA, Plugshare, A Better Route Planner, EVgo, ChargePoint) in anticipation of my road trip next weekend). On the Charging NA app (Android) under "My Vehicles" there is an option for Plug and Charge and it was toggled to on for my 2020 Taycan. Is there something else that people are waiting to be installed for it to work?

Don't know, but I am looking forward to your reading on this forum about your experience and stats from your upcoming road trip.

Yes it will be interesting to see how this trip turns out. I did the same trip in the opposite direction back in May (despite many of the problems others post about EA chargers, I was able to charge at all of my EA stops from Connecticut down to Georgia). The biggest lesson I learned on that trip was that the Charging Planner on the factory Nav had not caught up with many of the EA charging locations. I will be relying more on ABRP to plot out a rough plan and then I will manually input the next upcoming EA stopover in the factory Nav to precondition the battery appropriately. For actual navigation I will rely on Waze for traffic with my Valentine 1 Gen 2 and Highway Patrol app running to monitor police activity. I am interested to see how my cold weather experience compares to your recent trip to the Jersey shore.

I did a decent little trip back in I think august and had no issues with EA either. I've read a lot of it (and echoed by their CEO) is the card swipe hardware - hence the push for plug and charge as it makes everyone's life better. I used my EA app and RFID pad grabbed it without an issue anywhere. Always had a 350kw slot and never a problem. My only lesson learned was the dang onboard route planner updates a bit too dynamically... I decided to bump my charge much higher than the plan called for b/c I wanted to have more charge at the final destination and so of course once I hit the highway it re-routed everything and jacked up my plans. Ended up being fine but it was an 'ah ha' moment.

I read in a recent Car and Driver (may have been Motor Trend) article that an over the air update would be coming in Jan 2021 to include Apple Music lyrics on the passenger screen. Lol my only mistake was telling my wife about it.
I will look for the article and post it if find it.

According to Porsche, ". . .Plug & Charge will be available at many Electrify America charging points at the start of 2021."
How about seeing Electrify America charging points? Still not in evidence!!
