There are companies who have “tweaked” the electronic sport sound of the taycan so it sounds more like a combustion engine. Is this something you guys would do or not?

e.g.

Yes, purely as a safety issue in urban areas. Nobody jumps out in front of the Taycan with the Sport Sound on like they did on a nearly daily basis in front of my silent Tesla for the past 8 years.

Electric sports sound is more than enough for pedestrians warning..

oh, I guess I misread this whole thread. I thought it was a choice between silent and electric sport sounds.

Ok, in that case, I wouldn't spend a dime beyond the stock electric sport sounds, but I would definitely make sure I spec'd the stock electric sport sound.

No. A find the current sound option annoying and a fake combustion totally unnecessary (as if Henry Ford offered a clippity-clop option on the Model T).

If I were forced to have a gratuitous noise generator, I'd rather have one sounding like a steam train.
I think horses or chickens would be more interesting.

I WOULD spec the clippity-clop sound on the Taycan or, better yet, the coconuts from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
