If you have individual mode(not sure if all Taycans have it), you can set those preferences under that drive mode and always switch to it.

There is no way to do this.

If you have Sports Chrono then as mentioned you can configure and dial in as and when. Still requires you to activate manually.

not quite right, you can set the sounds to be on in various modes if you have that nifty little wheel and when you enter, say sports plus mode, the sound will be on, there is no need to manually turn it on.

The original question was to have it on all the time - no intervention needed to switch it on. There is no way to do this but there are ways to enable - Diamond Key and / or Sports Chrono with Individual setting configured to enable ;-)

Agreed. I didn't order it. The natural EV sounds are plenty.

IMHO, depends on circumstances.
I’m driving through some areas where I wanted to be heard by animals, cyclists and hikers…. that‘s why I selected it. And I’m going to use it for sure.

I use the <> button on the steering wheel too which works out fine until I have to use that to fix SiriusXM!

I have this same challenge. In normal mode I can not permanently change the sport sound or the regen. If I turn it on , Every time I start the car it is off. Is this correct or a bug?
Also, if I drive in individual, can I have the car always start in individual by default or do I have to twist the mode wheel for every drive I make?

That is correct. It is designed to function that way.

You have to twist the wheel for every drive. I do it every time. It is habit now.
