Your favourite Taycan option & why?

The only true “must have” option is the performance battery plus. As an EV, range is king, and I will always select the biggest battery available as the first option.

Among driving experiences, my favorites are: RAS, Olea leather .... and sports sound

Disappointed with: rear camera, unreliable car play & info system.

Edited: night vision instead of sports sound!

I thought it would be interesting to hear people's favourite options on their car and why.
List one or two.
Perhaps there was something that surprised you in its usability or fun factor. Doesn't matter what it is it's your choice.... your 21" wheels or your surround view camera, etc etc....

And whilst you're here you might as well list an option that you got that having the order placed again you might leave off and swap out for something else.

Be interesting to hear if there is any common themes....

1. Blind spot indicator on wing mirrors. I didn't even know I had ordered. Must of been packaged with something else.
2. HUD Display - Perfectly placed and my eyes never leave the road.
3. Surround view. Revolutionised my manual parking and no more scragging alloys.
4. The way the bonnet disappears sloping down a beautiful curse so you have 100% view out the windscreen. I thought a huge bonnet would be an issue looking out but you just can't see it. Incredible design.
5. Carmine Red - the biggest head turner ever

Had to think about this for a sec, but 18-way sport seats hands down my favorite option. Adjustable back and seat bolsters hug like a proper bucket seat for my skinny frame. And adjustable for when you don't need it. Seats look much sportier than the standard/14-way seats too.

On 4s this would have been my priority list:

1) performance battery plus
2) leather interrior extended package
3) adaptive cruise control
4) heat and sound insulated windows
5) heated everything (wheel, seats etc).
6) night vision

Tough call... either the Burmester + Acoustic Glass - or RWS (this car is easier to park than my 911)... The Smart Lift is pretty handy as well.

Interesting and still very early days for me.

Really happy with Sports chrono, I already use the mode selection a lot. Could really have done without the clock.

Most pleasantly surprised by the Adaptive regeneration, does way more than I thought. Almost feels like having adaptive cruise control. Was worried about not stumping up for ACC, now not worried.

A little disappointed by massage seats, on hindsight would have gone 18 way instead.

Oh and RWS. Don't have it so can't say how great it would be but guess what? The car still goes around corners and into parking spaces. If you want it, great. If you can't afford it or have to sacrifice something else. You can definitely live without it.

Overall happy with my spec and no regrets on a couple of things that were left on the cutting room floor. Only have std interior (it's fine). No panoramic and headroom turns out is fine. No HUD, can still see speedo without it lol.

Oh and get the electric charge doors, they are cool. Hahaha

I would hate parking a Taycan round where I live without it.

On the other hand I specced the grey windscreen tint. Not sure I've even noticed it yet or what the benefits are - if any.

Grey top tint - really helps with glare when sun at awkward angles.

Just be aware that its using the camera vs a radar – so its performance and detection will be very weather dependent compared to ACC.

Most favorite: RAS - it makes this car so easy to maneuver around in my parking garage
Least favorite: Rear seat heating - It's hardly ever used

I know this is cheating but it honestly varies by day

In parking lots its RAS, on Houston's crappy streets its the air suspension, on vacation travel its the battery+! Maybe above all it's simply that it drives like a Porsche

By far the least fav is Sports Sound - couldn't delete it as bundled in a pkg.
